Boston Jewish Music Festival: Rosalie Gerut with Hankus Netsky

Singer, composer, actress, & cantor, Rosalie Gerut is the daughter of Holocaust survivors & cofounder of One by One, an international, anti-racism organization. Her father & grandfather were Yiddishists & folk musicians; she has carried on the tradition. Accompanied by renowned musician and ethno-musicologist, Hankus Netsky, the concert features a lifetime of Jewish music, from folksongs her grandfather sang to compositions for musical theatre including ART’s production, Schlemiel the First.
