Revels' acclaimed touring ensemble, Revels Repertory Company, stars in this original musical stage show about American immigration. Set on a passenger ship bound for America circa 1907, the story follows a group of Italian, Irish and Eastern European Jewish families who've left their homelands and behind in search of a better life in America. As time goes by, the families form a unique bond, sharing their music, songs and stories as well as their hopes and dreams. Written & directed by Patrick Swanson; Kay Dunlap, music director. Produced in collaboration with arsenalArts.
Note: The program includes a free pre-show talk at 2:30pm, "Researching Your Family History" by Rhona R. McClure of the New England Genealogical Historic Society.
