A Taste of Shalshelet

Shalshelet is an international organization that seeks out and encourages creation of new music of the highest caliber for worship and performance for the benefit of k'lal Israel. Like BJMF, Shalshelet believes that music has the power to link Jews in a broader and deeper sense of community, enhances the vibrancy of the Jewish people, affiliated and unaffiliated, across all denominations. The evening will feature Shalshelet compositions from New England composers including Devin Goldenberg, Jeremiah Klarman, Yosl Kurland, Ernest Rakhlin, Ken Richmond and others. Many area cantors and song leaders will be featured performers as will Koleinu, Boston's Jewish Community Chorus.
