stART on the street Announces 2008 Annual Festival
End the summer with a bang. Experience a fun filled day. It’s a free festival that is literally "on the street". Find over 250 artists and crafters selling their handmade items as well as local non-profit organizations providing information and volunteer opportunities. Music and dancing will be non-stop with over 15 bands on the main stage and a variety of acts on the street stage. Also look for living statues, children’s mask parades and Industrial Sonic Echo.

Worcester, MA, August 19, 2008 – stART on the street announces its 2008 Festival presented by the Central Massachusetts Arts Assembly.

The 6th annual one day stART on the street festival takes place on Sunday, September 21, 2008, 11am – 5pm on Park Avenue, between Highland and Pleasant Streets, Worcester, MA (rain date: Sunday, September 28, 2008.) With the invasion of the Block Party the 20,000 plus attendees will have the opportunity to participate or sit back and watch a collaborative endeavor of an adventure playground.
