*A piano Master Class is one-time lesson for a piano student with an outstanding pianist (the master) usually not the students regular teacher. Typically, the master will ask the student to play a passage of music and then coach the student on how to improve her performance. Master classes open to the public provide a rare and fascinating insight into the nuances of learning to play and performing on the piano.
