Blackstone Valley Fencing Academy

The Blackstone Valley Fencing Academy has been open since 2001. It is run by Michael and Anne Olson.

Foil, epee, and sabre are taught at the Academy. Our goal is to train fencers to excel both in the sport and their personal life. We promote self confidence and self reliance as a fencer and an individual.

We have had the pleasure of working with great people and seeing them reach their goals. We are looking forward to working with many more and sharing in their achievements.

Fencing is available to all ages. Men, women, and children can learn the art and the language of fencing, en guard, attack, parry, rispote, touchez, in a friendly environment. We can accommodate the recreational fencer as well the competitors. Electric fencing is available.

It is a great way to stay fit and get a cardio-vascular workout. Fencing exercises the mind and the body with tactical thinking and fast footwork.
