April Birding Across the State

April birding in Massachusetts is a bounty of avian treats. This month includes the first important warbler and sparrow movements, flocks of waterfowl edging ever north, woodcocks displaying and nesting ospreys, red-tailed hawks and bald eagles. The classes will focus on spring migration and song. The field trips will visit the southern Berkshires, Westport, Quabbin reservoir, and the farms, fields and marshes of the Brookfields.
