Russell Garrett, freelance director and choreographer and former artistic director of Foothills Theatre Company in Worcester, will lead this discussion on the role of the choreographer in contemporary musical theatre. Russell will share his experience and insights on choreographing for both new works and established musicals, collaboration with the director and artistic team, and balancing the workload when both directing and choreographing a musical.
