Sand Molds for Blown Glass

Students will be guided through the process of mixing sand and making molds for blown glass. The molded forms will be filled with a glass bubble creating a unique object. Plan to create a unique sculptural object, vessel, or hanging pot. Applicable to all levels of glass workers and mold makers, all materials included, students may wish to bring their own color and/or found objects to make mold impressions.
